To the Evangelical Church: From a Recovering Progressive-And for a while, this emergent, progressive, neo-Christian theology sustained a relationship with Jesus, with no strings attached.  But then I got greedy. Because I didn’t feel that I owed anything to God, I began, instead, to feel entitled.

Push Through The Awkward— I’ve always said that it is good to be uncomfortable.  This blog says the same thing in a very good and convincing way.

Why Hobby Lobby Matters— Russ Moore writes, “So let’s celebrate today. And then let’s remember that we prize religious liberty not preeminently because it keeps us out of jail. We prize religious liberty because we believe there is a court higher than the Supreme Court. No government bureaucrat will stand with us before the Judgment Seat of Christ, and thus no bureaucrat should seek to lord over the conscience.”

 

The Hobby Lobby Decision: A Big Win for Religious Liberty–And a Very Revealing Divide on the Court— The public debate revealed all over again the fact that we are in a great and enduring battle for religious liberty, for the sanctity of human life, and for an entire range of concerns that are central to biblical conviction. Today’s decision does not settle those issues, but it does represent a much-needed defense of our nation’s cherished “first freedom.”
